Maltodextrin is a spray-dried powder and obtained by the partial hydrolysis of starch and caramel.

Brown maltodextrin mainly be used for coffee mix, chocolate mix, cocoa drink. But is also can be used for other products which need brown coloring and the taste like coffee.
